Brief Description:
Xanadu Surf & Yoga is a boutique surf and yoga retreat located in Kuta, within the Mandalika area of Lombok — a region known for world-class waves, laid-back beach culture, and growing tourism infrastructure.
The retreat combines hospitality with lifestyle experiences, offering guests daily surf sessions, yoga programs, and wellness activities in an intimate, nature-infused environment
The construction project involved the building of 10 purpose-designed guest units with a focus on indoor-outdoor harmony and natural materials. Each unit integrates architectural features that enhance guest experience — including expansive wooden and glass openings for natural light, terrazzo finishes, and thoughtfully detailed open-air bathroom areas. A Yoga Room with elevated wooden flooring was incorporated to support the retreat’s wellness programming.
As Project Manager, Muh. Ridho Islami, S.T. was responsible for planning, execution, and onsite coordination of construction works. His role included supervision of contractors and trades, ensuring build quality matched design specifications, monitoring schedule and safety performance, managing field logistics, and liaising with design and engineering teams throughout the construction phase.
